Con le drammatiche, reiterate sequenze del crollo delle torri gemelle, il terrorismo pare entrato di colpo nella vita degli americani, i quali lo avevano sempre ritenuto un incubo lontano, un male tipico di paesi lontani o più “instabili”. È da anni, invece, che esso interessa l’America, come dimostra la matrice tutta “domestica” dell’attentato al grattacielo di Oklahoma City, un obiettivo federale che il 4 maggio del 1995 costò la vita a più di cento persone. Anche allora, nella ricerca della matrice degli attentati, si pensò subito ai terroristi arabi, ma poi le indagini portarono alle milizie naziste davidiane, con profonde radici nel Sud e nel Mid-West americano.Downloads
