DANZA E PSICOLOGIA: Una ricerca

La danza è una tipologia di attività motoria che utilizza il movimento artistico come modalità di espressione, legata ad elementi simbolici e culturali. Coinvolge aspetti percettivi e motori, implica memorizzazione di sequenze motorie, ha una componente artistica, combinata con la musica, che ne sottolinea la dimensione socio-culturale. Viene qui presentata una ricerca, che ha coinvolto 25 donne e 25 uomini, finalizzata a conoscere esperienze e vissuti di adulti che nel tempo libero praticano danza. Sono stati valutati la percezione di abilità tecniche ed espressive, di aspetti emozionali, sociali, corporei e cognitivi collegati alla danza; per la motivazione, è stato utilizzato il costrutto di passione, armoniosa e ossessiva. L’analisi ANOVA per genere ha messo in luce differenze solo nella scala corporea, con le donne che danno una valutazione migliore rispetto agli uomini, anche se i punteggi sono comunque alti per entrambi i generi; nell’intero campione, la passione armoniosa ha evidenziato valori più elevati rispetto a quelli di passione ossessiva.
