Il ruolo della psicologia nello sport del curling

Il curling, spesso definito “scacchi sul ghiaccio”, è uno sport che combina abilità tecniche, strategie raffinate e una forte componente psicologica. Questo articolo analizza le connessioni tra curling e psicologia dello sport, mettendo in luce il ruolo di fattori come concentrazione, gestione dello stress, coesione di squadra ed empatia nel determinare la performance. Attraverso la revisione di studi recenti, emerge che le abilità cognitive e psico-emotive hanno un impatto tanto decisivo quanto la preparazione fisica e tecnica. Dalla scelta del focus attentivo alla regolazione delle emozioni in contesti ad alta pressione, i processi psicologici risultano centrali per il successo agonistico. L’articolo propone una riflessione che intreccia dati accademici e considerazioni divulgative, offrendo una panoramica accessibile e scientificamente fondata su come la mente, oltre al corpo, sia la vera protagonista del curling contemporaneo.
