Caratteristiche degli Atleti Master di pattinaggio artistico su ghiaccio e strategie di allenamento efficaci

Negli ultimi anni, il crescente interesse per l’attività fisica in età adulta ha favorito l’espansione del movimento Master anche in discipline tecnicamente complesse come il pattinaggio artistico su ghiaccio. La presente ricerca esplora le caratteristiche psicologiche, motivazionali e relazionali degli atleti adulti (N = 94), con l’obiettivo di individuare strategie di coaching efficaci e di proporre un modello formativo ibrido per allenatori. Sono state analizzate la motivazione (tramite la Situational Motivation Scale), le paure legate alla pratica sportiva e le preferenze rispetto allo stile di coaching (pedagogico vs. andragogico). I risultati indicano una forte prevalenza di motivazione intrinseca e orientamento autodeterminato, accanto a paure centrate su sicurezza fisica e immagine sociale. Gli atleti mostrano una leggera preferenza per lo stile pedagogico, pur apprezzando elementi andragogici di autonomia e personalizzazione. Si propone un modello di coaching integrato, che coniughi competenza tecnica e sensibilità educativa, promuovendo benessere e apprendimento esperienziale negli atleti adulti.
